Beginning in January of 2013 Hugh Hewitt, http://www.hughhewitt.com began a life changing weekly broadcast discussing great works and great ideas. In truth this discussion began over a decade ago with a New Years eve broadcast with Dr. Larry Arnn the President of Hillsdale College, http://www.hillsdale.edu.
Over the course of the past now year and a half our guide our sherpa Dr. Larry Arnn and his staff have been flogged with questions and discussion on many of the great works and specifically the great works that made Western Civilization what it is today.
If you are a serious individual who truly cares about civil liberties, who cares about civilization, who cares about politics, who cares about ideas, this is a wonderful roadmap regardless of your political or religious beliefs it is important to understand not just your own ideas, but just how we arrived at where we are today. This is a cliffs notes edition of it all, it is taught by some of the most knowledgeable and wise teachers in our nation. It is worth your attention.
If you are interested in listening to the broadcast you are in luck. The entire series has been made available as a podcast, and there are transcripts provided by Hugh Hewitt’s producer as well.
